Many of
the dangers that surround us first come to our notice in
the Press. In general, the newspapers accurately reflect
the facts of any scientific reports they come across, even
if some of them overplay the high drama of such discoveries.
However, tempered with some common-sense, press articles
can summarise otherwise highly technical articles in ways
we can all understand.
