Neways – the Company
behind Purity Personal Products
Purity Personal Products are independent distributors of Neways
International. Neways UK first opened in 1992 and moved
to its brand new, purpose built headquarters in Kimbolton
on 13th April 2001.
Neways Europe acquired a massive new HQ in Brussels in 2007.
Neways was founded and run by a concerned research biochemist
and his marketing wife. In 1987 Tom and Dee Mower set out
to do things differently and have, as a result, presided
over phenomenal growth to become one of the largest privately-owned
companies in the world.
The growth is due simply and solely to happy customers.
From the beginning, Neways has been concerned about potentially
dangerous ingredients used in many consumer products and
has attempted to educate customers about them. Neways has
developed safe and highly effective alternatives for these
products, formulated without any toxic ingredients.
Neways International was formally established in 1992 in
Salem, Utah. The background to the company makes an interesting
story.
From the late '70s to the late '80s
Tom and Dee Mower formulate, manufacture and sell industrial chemical
products, degreasers, lubricants and commercial cleaning
compounds to national hotel chains, hospitals and supermarkets.
1987-1989
Shocked by the harmful chemicals in the personal care products they
buy for their family, the Mowers decide to create personal
care products without the damaging ingredients.

world, Neways is incorporated and the company adds nutritional
products to its successful personal care product line.

Neways Russia opens and catapults growth for the company in Eastern
Europe. In New Zealand, Neways acquires the third-largest
manufacturing facility in the southern hemisphere. Neways

business opportunity even more lucrative and attractive
to Distributors worldwide.
1997
A new, expanded manufacturing and distribution facility is completed
in Salem, Utah. Launch of top-selling core product Maximol
Solutions spurs growth in the United States and around the
world.
1998
Neways Japan opens and rapidly becomes one of the top ten network
marketing companies in the country. Amid a worldwide recession,
Neways maintains annual double-digit growth. Neways begins
Noni research and later becomes the leader in Hawaiian Noni
juice.
1999
Since early 1999, Neways has seen a real explosion in its business,
both in the UK and in mainland Europe.

immense growth, contributing to yet another year of record-breaking

an 85,000 square foot landmark, is completed in Springville,
Utah. Ground is broken on a state-of-the-art manufacturing
facility just west of the new headquarters.

cruise ship off the Pacific coast of California and Mexico.
A number of new product offerings and business-building
incentives jump start another record-breaking year of earnings
for Neways. Neways Summer Concert Series gains popularity
and attracts concert-goers from all around the United States'
intermountain west region. The Austrian market opens for
business in the latter part of 2004.
Moving Forward - Poised for Success
With exciting and innovative personal care, cosmetic, nutritional
and household products supported by an unmatched business
opportunity, Neways looks to the future with enthusiasm
and a commitment to excel.
Today, Neways attributes its success as a debt-free, $600
million company to its expanded line of quality personal
care products, cosmetics, and nutritional supplements, which
contain only the safest ingredients.
2006
Neways is acquired by Golden Gate Capital, a San Francisco-based
private equity firm. For Neways, founded in 1992 by Tom
and Dee Mower, this marks the completion of its multi-year
transition from a small founder-owned firm to a world-class
multi-national company with top notch management, professional
